Neighborhood Toolbox

The Neighborhood Toolbox is here to hold community building and community development resources that neighborhood residents and organizations may find helpful. These are dynamic tools and resources that increase their effectiveness through participation and input from community members like you. The tools grow and so will the Toolbox, so check in once in a while.

STL Community L.A.B.

Learn. Act. Build.

STL Community L.A.B. creates space for our region to Learn, Act, and Build strong communities.

This hub for community development trainings, programs, and courses in the St. Louis region is a great starting place if you are looking to make a change in your community or develop community-building skills.

This space is hosted by MU Extension. You can learn more about our partners who created this space and link to their work here.

St. Louis Community Investment Connector

Spark Economic Development

Invest STL in partnership with St. Louis Development Corporation, and Greater St. Louis Inc. are working together to support development in the city of St. Louis. Together we created the new St. Louis Community Investment Connector to meet this goal.

You can search for and share opportunities to connect with businesses and entrepreneurs, real estate development projects, properties for sale, technical assistance and non-profit resources.

STL Organization MAP

Work Collectively. Collaborate Effectively.

Our partners at Community Engagement Action Group and STL Vacancy Collaborative are mapping neighborhood associations, community development corporations, and community-building organizations that have specific footprints in the St Louis metro area.

Check out the map to see what organizations are active in your neighborhood.

Invest STL wants to know how you are finding value within this collection of resources. How have you been able to engage your work and your goals with these tools?
